Harbin Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. was founded in 1952, is China's earliest engaged in air cooling, air conditioning business enterprises. The company was reorganized as a whole in 1993 and established Harbin Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. It was successfully listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1999.
Harbin Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. is the largest production base of petrochemical air coolers, power plant air coolers and HVAC products in China. It is the designated manufacturer of large complete sets of air handling units for nuclear power plants established by China National Nuclear Industry Corporation. It is the only specialty in China that can design and produce all kinds of air coolers in the world by itself. The level of technology development and production capacity represents the level of air cooler industry in China. Since the first domestic petrochemical air cooler was successfully developed in 1964, Harbin Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. has filled up nearly 60 product gaps in the field of air cooler and air conditioning products, and has been praised as the cradle of China's air cooler. The company's products are widely used by China's three major petrochemical companies, five major power generation groups, and exported to the United States, Canada, Italy, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Russia, India and other countries.
In 1995, the company first passed the ISO9001 international quality system certification in the same industry in China. In 1996, the company obtained the import and export right of self-management. In 2000, the company was qualified to export large-scale sets of export credit to the international market. In 2002, the company passed the ASME [U] certification. In 2010, the National Energy Bureau set up the only air cooling system research and development center in China.
